TOMB OF NERO.

This monument, known by the appellation of Nero’s tomb, is in
truth that of Caius Vibius Marianus, the proconsul ; it is at present the
only one of the ornaments of the Flaminian way which continues to
attract the attention of the traveller on his arrival at Rome.
