Plate XII. Nqs. 452-454, 457, 461, 462, 465, 467, Tomb 84.—Gold ornaments. On PI. IV. are engraved

a haematite cylinder, No. 464 ; a porcelain scarab, No. 465 ; and a porcelain cylinder, No. 466, found
in this tomb along with the pottery in Fig. 66 ante.

No. 461 is a gold diadem with stamped patterns resembling an archaic Ionic capital above two
sets of volutes curving in opposite directions.

Nos. 360. 375. 380-384, 395, Tomb 69.—No. 360 is a small bronze ring with figure of Bes on
bezel, reproduced from an impression on PL IV, and there described along with the pottery and
terracottas from this tomb, Fig. 68. Among the gold ornaments here enumerated, No. 395 is
the only one of unusual character.

No. 512'—Uncertain tomb, a strip of gold. No. 692, also uncertain, a carnelian bead.

No. 16, Tomb 22.—Gold diadem with embossed rosettes.
