The following composed the Freiburg team

The Athletic Sports.

The Athletic Sports were held on May 3rd
and 4 th. They were to have been held earlier, but
owing to the non-arrival of the prizes from England,
had to be put off, till the weather became almost
too warm.

The judges were: Mr. de C. Ireland, Mr. J. AV. Low
and Mr. J. G. Tuckey, the starters were: Mr. AV.
Forman and Mr. L. Armitage.

The competition for the Challenge Cup was again
decidedly close, and the number of entries very good.
The events were as follows:
