J. M. Clark: A dashing forward, persistently rushes
out of the scrums, and helps his three-quarter line
when in danger.

H. F. Hathorn: plays half on the right, is rather quick
in passing out to his three-quarters, stops the rushes
of the opposing forwards with great promptitude
but is rather too fond of being off-side during the
scrums.

Letters to the Editor.

Dear Mr. Editor,

I saw with great vexation that the School photo-
graphs in -the Dining Hall last term were gradually
diminishing in number; I see now with still greater
vexation that absolutely no photos are left. In my opinion
a copy of every school photo ought to be framed and
placed in the Speisesaal. I hope you will do something
to have those replaced which have been taken away.
I should also like to draw your attention to the fact
that a cricket shield is missing. Hoping when next I
visit the School to see a complete collection of both
photos and shields,

I remain, yours sincerely,

R. M.

School News.

We sincerely regret having omitted to congratulate
B. C. Stoker, J. J. Rairtforth, B. A. Hill and F. Weber
on having obtained Lower Certificates at the Oxford
and Cambridge Examination last July.

Our Old Boys have been doing very well this last
term: S. G. de C. Ireland obtained a Classical Scholar-
ship at Hertford College; and A. J. Parkin a Natural
Science Scholarship at Trinity College, Oxford, and L.
F. Jenkins passed into Sandhurst; Y. Wcllesley also did
the same.

Parkin also got his colours as three-quarters at
Rugby, and C. E. Barry as forward at St. Pauls.
