schke. The mathematicians Hesse and Fuchs, and the
leaders in natural science, Hofmeister, Kekule, Kopp, and
above all Bunsen, Kirchhoff and Helmholtz, have spread the
glory of Heidelberg over the world.—" Nature."

Bishop Wilkinson held a Confirmation at the English
Church in Heidelberg on March 6th, and honoured the
College by being the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Hill during his
stay of three days in the town. We trust to have the privilege
of another visit from him. Certainly the boys will look for-
ward to see him again, because at his request they had a
half holiday !

And alio time walkee plenty high,
