The present campaign, sponsored by JagielIonian University in Krako w, the Poznan Prehistoric
Society, Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology of Warsaw University and the State
Committee for Scientific Research (KBN) lasted from 22 February to 12 May 2002.1
In the 2002 season, work was continued on the Western and Central koms in the areas
excavated in previous years. On the Eastern Kom, work was also carried on in previously traced
trenches and the area between them {Fig. 1}.
