fire resemble the technical
names bestowed upon bar-
rels of table ale brewed
during the Ninth Month ?

Because they are “ except
ember” (XSeptember!)

Why would the con ver-
sion of a light Rhine wine
into a popular malt beve-
rage containing alcohol re-
semble an alteration in the
title of the Tenth Month ?

Because it would be
changing “ Hock to beer ! ”
