Ebert 3722 b. Brunet I, 1663. „Edit. Origin.” This famous dictionary, finishing
at page 320, lacks title and other parts, because its printing was forbidden and
the stock seized. Reason: it is one continuing satire on the scholars of Crusca’s
Academy, for whose use ■— to translate the typical dialect, spoken in Sienna,
and used by S. Catherine in her Leiters — it was written. Hence it became
very rare. Fine, large copy.
