A picture answering the above description is mentioned by
Descamps, then in the possession of M. de Bie, 1653, of whom it
was purchased by the Dutch East India Company, for the sum of
4000 flo., and presented to Charles II., upon his embarkation for
England. It subsequently became the property of King William III.,
who took it back to Holland, and placed it in the Chateau of
Loo.

and a gauze kerchief over her shoulders, the latter of which she
