6. Portraits of a Lady, a Gentleman, and a Child. The subject
is composed with great taste and picturesque effect; it represents
the lady, attired in a yellow velvet jacket and white satin skirt,
holding an interesting child, who has some ssowers in his lap,
some of which he appears to be disposed to give to his father,
who is seated by the side of a table, on which lies an open book.
