60. A View in a City in Holland, Among the figures
which animate the scene is a lady with a child, going
towards an ancient church on the right and front; and on
the steps of the entrance to a convent in the middle,
are two monks; three buildings, divided by two streets,
are seen in the distance, and several other figures are dis-
tributed in various parts of the piece. These are by Eglon
Vander Neer.
