1. A Landscape, exhibiting a finely undulated country,
adorned with clusters of trees and a river, and the fore-ground
richly varied with withered trees and wild herbage. The
agreeable scene is also animated with figures by Wouwermans:
these chiefly consist of a lady on horseback, a man holding
his horse by the bridle, and two travellers.

2. A House, of a picturesque appearance, surrounded by
a hedge and a fence, by the side of which passes a high road,
leading through a pleasant country. Some peasants, consist-
ing of a man, a woman, and a child, contribute to the interest
of the scene.

3. A Landscape, abounding with sand-hills, and adorned
with a few clumps of trees. The scene is also remarkable for
