Landscapes.
mountains. On the fore-ground is a herdsman leaning on his
staff, tending a herd of goats; and on the farther side of the
stream, is a shepherd driving a large ssock of sheep to water.
Among a clump of trees on the right of the picture, is a
building with a fountain at its side, at which a traveller is
watering his horse. A fine evening gives lustre to the scene.
