19. The Nursery. A picture representing the same subject
as the preceding, but differently composed, was bequeathed
by the late Lord Farnborough to the National Gallery.

20. The Sempstress. A young woman, wearing a red and
white neckerchief, seated in a front view, occupied at her
needle. The humble apartment is illumined by a window at
the side. An excellent example of the master.
