18. A Sea View, under the appearance of a fresh breeze.
On the right and front is a fishing smack, with her mainsail
lowered and the foresail up, having three men on board. In
the opposite side is a man of war receding from the spectator;
and a few small vessels are seen in the distance.

19. A View osf the Coast during a stisf breeze. In the
centre is a passage yacht (having seven men and a woman on
board) scudding under red main and white foresails, towards
the right of the picture; beyond this object are a coaster
and a ship of war at anchor, with a lighter lying alongside of it;
and close to the right is a fishing boat, approaching a jetty
of piles in the corner. The appearance is that of a fine
evening.
