occupied by a chateau and cottages, rising above the trees.
On the foreground to the left is a high sandy bank, at the
foot of which are three travellers in conversation, another is
descending a knoll; a shepherd with his ssock are in a field ;
and a stream with ducks is seen to the right. Vigorously
painted.
