(10 to the first and 18 to the second volume) found in the^rsi volume of the
present copy.
The difference in the composing of the texts of the two editions are evident
in every page, and the contractions are nearly equal, although they do not
occur in the same words ; thus making the lines generally to correspond.
As there are some unaccountable singularities in the first edition, and errors
in both, the following abridged collation may not be unacceptable to the
bibliographer, and serve more distinctly in future to designate the two
editions :•—

FIRST EDITION.
(formerly in the possession of
DR. KLOSS.)
The type of this edition is quite sharp,
and apparently new. It is printed on
stout and white paper.

SECOND EDITION.
(present copy.)

The text of this edition is the most cor-
rect : but, the type is much worn, thick-
ened, and printed on “ coarse brown-
tinted paper.”
