Viola D. Dunkley, who also gained a London
County Council School of Art scholarship. An
art master's certificate was awarded to Miss Grace
Hudson, and an art teacher's certificate to Miss
Edith M. Sayer, and the Birkbeck Council Student-
ship was taken by Miss Gertrude M. Lichtenberger
for designs for lace. These designs, together with
examples of the lace executed by Miss Lichten-
berger, were included in the attractive exhibition

of students' work that was held last month at the taunton. design based on aconite
