Dear Sirs,
The sketch by my father, the late George Cat ter mole, dated 1844, is one °f several of Knole Park bearing the same date,
and touched in with your Chinese White. The sketch is as it left his hands, and is in itself a very fnt proof of the great
Permanency of your figment, which has retained its brilliancy for 63 years.
[ may say further that this sketch has been with others in a portfolio and not preserved under glass, so that it has
continually been exposed to the atmosphere. / am, dear sir,
