All the Colours in this List are of the highest degree of Permanence, and
may be mixed together ad libitum without risk of Chemical Change.
Dear Sirs,
The sketch by mv father, the late George Cattermole, dated 1844, is one of several of Knole Pa*k bearing the same date,
and touched imvith your Chinese White. The sketch is as it left his hands, and is in itself a very fne proof of the great
permanency of yourpigment, which has retained its brilliancy for 6j years.
/ may say further that this sketch has been with others in a portfolio and not preserved under glass, so that it has
continually been exposed to the atmosphere. / am, dear sir,
