The ritual of the own desired 3eity shall be
performed in this manner. The ritual of Narayana,
Masfaadeva, Dibakara (Sun), an* Jagaddhatri
shall be alone in the same manner. (For installation of
these deities).
The reoresentation shall be bathed with '"aricamrta*
(five nectars) for the ourifloation of the image
(Pratima). Then the image shall be message* with the
pulverised rice of •sali' paddy and bathed.
With the utterance of the formula " \to Tteva etc. »
(vedic mantra) the message shall be performed.

The sage (Rsi) <kf the mantra is tevalayana,
the rhythm (chanda) is gayatri, the divinity
(devata) is Visnu. ^he mantra of this origin is
emoloyed in the ritual of message (udbarttana).
