jacies iegis: vbi facierum sen perfonarum no-
mine senlus veniunt, iicut apud Muammedanos p),
ad sensum Korani limplicem ec mysticum deno-
tandum, dici solet: Koranum habere duas'fa-
cies, alteram hominis, alteram bruti: qua lo-
cutione et ipsi contemtum sensus simplicis, et
allegoriarum amorem produnt. Septuaginta
autem facies seu sensus Iudaer dicunt pro multis
seu infinitis, certum hunc numerum quali sa-
crum, pro incerto et innumerabili ponere sueti,
vel propterea quod in plurimis rebus et consti-
