Section «Industrialisation du Bätiment
Die Abteilung Bauen hat sich ein so um-
fassendes wie begrenztes Thema gestellt:
die Industrialisierung des Bauens, d.h. die
Anwendung moderner Produktionsmethoden
auf die Bautechnik.
Es ist eine Tatsache, daß die traditionellen
Baumethoden nicht mehr geeignet sind, den
heutigen Forderungen zu genügen; das gilt
insbesondere für den wachsenden Bedarf an
Wohneinheiten. Daher ist es unerläßlich, die
Baumethoden zu technifizieren und zu
industrialisieren.
Die Abteilung Bauen bildet spezialisierte
Architekten aus, die dieser Aufgabe ge-
wachsen sind.
The industrialized building department has a
comprehensive but limited theme: the appli-
cation of modern methods of production to
building techniques.
Traditional methods of building are no longer
sufficient to cover the present-day need for
surface buildings of all kinds, and there is
clearly an urgent necessity for industrializa-
tion in this field.
The building departrnent trains architects
capable of performing this task.

l’application des methodes modernes de
production aux techniques de la construction.
C’est un fait que les methodes traditionnelles
de construction repondent de moins en
moins aux exigences actuelles. Le bätiment
doit se hausser au niveau de l’ensemble de
la production industrielle, ne serait-ce, par
exemple, que pour satisfaire ä la demande
sans cesse accrue en matiere de logement.
La section «industrialisation du bätiment»
s’efforce de former les specialistes capables
d’assumer cette täche.
