Consul gave a pelisse. He enjoys great credit,
and is much attached to France.

are really men of merit, and may be useful to
us. One of them is called Mons. Bazile, and
the ether Don Bazile. They have a good un-
derstanding, a very considerable fortune, and
• great consideration.
<f In Egypt, chiefs, traders, people, and
every body, love to talk of the First Consul,
and wish for his success. All the news which
relates to him is spread from Alexandria and
Damietta to the Pyramids and the Cataracts,
with an astonishing rapidity.
