Another volume called mh^roM/s has some estimates and part accounts mixed up with warrants,
some letters, reports, &c.

7/<///or'5 A'o/<?.—The accounts begin H^r//rd^p and are concerned with the alterations of the Tudor build-
ings as iodgings for the King, Queen, and Court officiais, as well as the erection of the new barrack stables of
the Dutch Guard. 58 M bricks aredelivered by water in April, stone and timber in May and June and July.
No clear demarcation is possible between work on the new and old buildings in the accounts. There is a
reference to foundations being dug in the June account, as :

Digging the cross foundation at the East End of the New Building, wheeling & carting the rubbish
away. 61 yards. ^3. 16. o.
