Entry Books of the Städtisches Museum Göttingen
In contrast to many other German museums, the Städtisches Museum Göttingen has access to a complete documentation of its incoming objects. Since the museum was founded in 1889, this inventory has been recorded in nine completed entry books. The tenth entry book marks the end of analogue documentation of incoming objects at the Städtisches Museum Göttingen, as the museum is now fully switching to digital recording. The first three volumes covering the period from the museum's founding in 1889 to 1933 can now be viewed in their entirety. The other volumes are currently being reviewed for any personal rights that may have been affected.
