L'exécution do ces objets est charmante et d'un art très
avancé. Le miroir proprement dit, ou plaque destinée à refléter
le visage, est dénué de toute décoration ; les manches seules ont
reçu les caresses de l'artiste, et, malgré des détériorations regret-
tables, on reconnaît facilement des couvres d'une grande valeur
artistique et propres à inspirer nos artistes modernes. — Le
manche de la fig. 4019 est en bois.
