Sztuka Ameryki Łacińskiej (5.2015)

Z ogromną przyjemnością pragniemy zaprezentować piąty numer rocznika
„Sztuka Ameryki Łacińskiej”, opracowany przez Zakład Sztuki Ameryki Środ-
kowej i Południowej funkcjonujący w obrębie Polskiego Instytutu Studiów nad
Sztuką Świata. Tym razem artykuły zostały poświęcone sztuce prekolumbij-
skiej oraz popularnej. Jest to kolejny tom przybliżający różnorodne aspekty
kultury latynoamerykańskiej oglądanej poprzez przedmioty i utwory o chara-
kterze artystycznym. Formuła naszego czasopisma jest szeroka, jednak
wszystkie opracowania dotyczą przejawów artystycznych na terenie Ameryki
Łacińskiej, a w przypadku tego numeru - na terenie Meksyku.
Tenemos el placer de presentar el quinto número del “Arte de América Latina”,
elaborado por el Departamento del Arte de América Central y América del Sur,
del Instituto de la Investigación del Arte Mundial. Los artículos que conforman
este tomo están relacionados principalmente con el arte precolombino y po-
pular, ofreciendo una aproximación a los aspectos muy variados de la cultura
latinoamericana. Aunque por su ideología, nuestra revista tiende a abarcar un
temario relativamente amplio, todos los artículos que incluye giran en tomo
a diferentes muestras artísticas de América Latina, y en el caso de este número
concreto, en tomo a la producción artística de México.
We are delighted to present the fifth issue of the “Art of the Latin America”,
prepared by the Department of Central and South American Art, operating
within the Polish Institute of World Art Studies. This time the articles are
devoted to both Pre-Columbian and popular art. This is another volume
introducing various aspects of Latin American culture viewed through objects
and works of an artistic nature. The formula of our journal is wide, yet all the
articles are devoted to various artistic manifestations in Latin America, and
in case of this particular issue - in Mexico.
