W obecnym numerze czasopisma „Sztuka Ameryki Łacińskiej” mamy przy-
jemność zaprezentować wybór artykułów dotyczących sztuki w Argentynie
w XX wieku. Tom zawiera sześć tekstów i został podzielony na dwie części.
W pierwszej z nich znajdują się artykuły dotyczące kwestii artykulacji między
sztuką a polityką oraz relacji sztuki i lewicowych ideologii. Teksty opubliko-
wane w drugiej części skupiają się na specyfice sztuki awangardowej i neo-
awangardowej w Argentynie - podkreślają jej transdyscyplinamy charakter
i analizują artystyczne strategie rozwijane w kontekście dyktatur i pierwszych
lat demokracji.
En el número actual de la revista “Arte de América Latina”, nos complace
presentar una selección de artículos sobre el arte de la Argentina del siglo XX.
El volumen contiene seis textos y se ha dividido en dos partes. Los artículos que
componen la primera parte tratan el tema de la articulación entre el arte y la
política y la relación del arte con las ideologías izquierdistas. Los textos publi-
cados en la segunda parte se centran en la especificidad del arte vanguardista
y neovanguardista en Argentina: enfatizan su carácter transdisciplinario y ana-
lizan las estrategias artísticas desarrolladas en el contexto de las dictaduras y los
primeros años de la democracia.
In the current issue of “Art of Latin America”, we are pleased to present
a selection of articles about art in Argentina in the 20th century. The volume is
comprised of six texts and has been divided in two parts. The articles included
in the first part deal with the problem of articulation between art and politics and
the relationships between art and leftist ideologies. The texts published in the
second part focus on the specificity of avant-garde and neo-avant-garde art
in Argentina - they emphasize its transdisciplinary character and analyse
artistic strategies developed in the context of dictatorships and the first years
of democracy.
