1669
La figure centrale, 1009, est on bronze et d'origine italienne.
Elle est d'un grand caractère; mais le pied nous paraît avoir bien
du développement.
Les figures 1007 et 1008 sont en cuivre doré et d'un travail
français. Des figures pleines de mouvement, un satyre et une
bacchante, forment la tige. Quelques parties sont mates et tout
le reste bruni.

The central fig. 1069 is of bronze and of Italian origin. It lias
a grand style ; but its foot seems to us to have a rather large
development.
Figures 1007 and 1008 arc copper gilt and of French
make. A Satyr and a Bacchante, both lively figures, form
the tige. With the exception of a few dead spots, the whole is
burnished.
