This splendidly ornamented piilar séparâtes two choir
arcades of the church of Noisy le Grand, near Paris. Instead
of tho usual ornamentation at the springing of the vaulls,
we find a design and three colonnettes resting upon a support
whose sculpture shows a most clever treatment.
