Ces compositions légèrement fantaisistes, souvenirs affaiblis
(le documents historiques sculptés ou peints, sont extraits de
l'œuvre de Pierretz. — Aujourd'hui on préfère généralement
mettre sous les yeux des artistes la reproduction exacte dos ori-
ginaux inspirateurs, et l'on peut remarquer que nous procédons
le plus possible do cette façon.

Nowadays, generally one prefers putting under the eyes of
the artist an exact and truthful copy of the originals ; we need
not remark that as mucb as possible, we keep truc to this last
program.
