Celte pièce remarquable provient de l'autel dit du Saint-
Esprit. La coupe est en cristal de roche, la monture en argent
ciselé. La figure du sommet représente la Religion ; les six ca-
mées d'agate du couvercle, alternés avec des grenats taillés,
sont des têtes d'anges.
Los quatre camées sont des antiques ou des copies d'an-
tiques et n'ont aucune signification religieuse. La plaque in-

Tliis remarkable chalice belonged to tlie so-calLd altar of
tlie Holy Ghost. The cup proper is rock crystal, the Eilver
mounting is gilt and chiselled. The figure crowning the article
représente Religion; tlie six cameos with angels'hcads which
adorn the cover are separated one from the other by eut gar-
nets. The four ancient or imiiaiions of ancient cameos set in
the square knob of the foot have no religious character. The
underside of the lid shows a cornelian upon which is iucised
the Holy Virgin and Infant Christ.
