FRAGMENT, moulded. L. 4J in. From Dimini. The design consists of three uneven
rows of sunk discs, their surface curved as if impressed with the finger-tip or similar round-
ended implement. Straight rim of a large jar, as last ; lip bevelled on the inside. Stony,
black clay with brown surface, and a rough slip on outside and edge of lip. (Fig. 47.)

FRAGMENT, moulded. L. 3 in. From Zerelia. Along the lip is a slightly raised
band in which is a single row of rough impressions, as in the last example. v

FRAGMENT, moulded. L. 3 in. From Rakhmani. Two raised fillets at the lip,
impressed with circular sinkings, as before. Coarse, black clay with dark purple-brown surface.

FRAGMENT, moulded. L. 3J in. From Rakhmani. The lip is turned out in a
smooth round fillet, below which, at an interval of one inch, is another fillet with circular
impressions. Grey clay fired bright red on surface. (Fig. 47.)

FRAGMENT, moulded. L. 4 in. From Zerelia. Similar decoration of a raised fillet
with round sinkings. Very coarse ware with rough red and brown surface.

FRAGMENT, moulded. L. 5 in. From Tsangli. Decoration of a raised fillet, wider
than before, with smaller depressions at intervals. Coarse ware with roughly burnished brown

FRAGMENT, moulded. L. 3J in. From Zerelia. Very coarse'red ware, burnt black
in places, decorated with a horizontal fillet and irregular oblique curves below, all in relief.

FRAGMENT, moulded and incised. L. 2~ in. From Zerelia. Thick ware with fine
polished brown surface, decorated with a short spiral curve which is modelled in relief and
incised with cross-bars.
