have been extensivcly restored), aad to show qualities of Gaspare Diziani's art. It has been
exliibitcd as a work of this painter sińce 1960 in our gallcry in the Italian XVIIIth cen-
tury room, and last summer it was shown in the Lublin museum where an exhibition of the
late baroąue Northern Italian paintings was organized by the Warsaw National Museum11.
The picture is not large: 79x96 cm and it is a curious fact, that its size is almost inden-
tical with that of both Cracow pictures, which measure 82x98 each12. On the other band

qualities of a North Italian work of the XVIIIth century and says it is illustrated in the sale cataloguc, which haa
