second work, called “Beige One” (ill. 3), is madę of glued together layers of
thick greyish-beige paper of differentiated texture which brings compelling
idea of desert landscape. The entire composition is filled with schematically
black figurines. Some are provided with protruding penises. Surely there is
no mention in any of the Gospels that the temptation of Christ was connected
with this sphere of human life, however the temptation of Saint Anthony
the Hermit was of that kind. Jaromski’s works are to be understood
