This paper was written with the intention of informing scholars about some
of the unpublished objects, of unknown or doubtful provenance, in the
collection of Egyptian art at the National Museum in Warsaw, related to the
activity of the founder of that collection, Professor Kazimierz Michałowski.
The author hopes that some of those valuable objects can be elucidated by
specialists in their particular fields, and in that way their value for the museum
can be raised.
