Site: next to the head of the deceased, together with ceramics and alabaster
and diorite vessels in the north chamber of mastaba no. V, belonging to Kar
and located at the necropolis dating from the Old Kingdom period.

State of preservation: lack of handle; disc covered with black coating, a smali
hole near the bottom edge, disc and pin have jagged edges, top part of the disc
and the part near the pin are flaked; the mirror was renovated.

Dating: 6th Dynasty

height 15,2 cm, width of disc 13,6 cm, thickness of disc 0,11 cm, length of
pin 2,6 cm, thickness of pin 0,35 cm

Typology: type la - disc with an oblong, rectangular pin
Site: mastaba no. XII together with ceramics and basin. The mastaba was
located in the centre of the Southern section of the necropolis dating from the
Old Kingdom.

State of preservation: lack of handle; disc jagged at the edges and broken at
the side edge, one side of the disc covered with brown coating with rusty
spots, nearly half of its surface is flaked; the other side covered with brown
coating mixed with green patina, the mirror was renovated.

Dating: 6th Dynasty
