1 TRANSLATION.

418. Let not the mouth of any serpent or worm enter her flesh by biting

into her.

419. The divine spouse An^nesraneferab, triumphant, is protected from the

month of every gnawing worm, as Ra is protected from his enemies.

420. Ra triumphs over the enemies, and slaughters the adversaries of the

divine spouse Osiris An^nesraneferab, triumphant, just as he
slaughters his

422. own enemy, the serpent Naka, who comes against him with enmity.

423. The mother of Osiris, the Cow, addresses them with thine own mouth

saying, 0 may thy will be done among them.

424. She addresses you just as Ra addressed his enemies.

425. 0 Apophis, and all ye enemies of the divine spouse Osiris An^nesra-

neferab,

426. triumphant; 0 Enemy and adversaries, children of inertness ; get you

427. gone to the fire, get you gone to the flame, get you gone to the eye of

Horus. May the divine spouse come to you, may she devour you,
may she be baneful to you.

428. May you go to her fire and flame, may you suffer her wrath, may you

endure her will, may you be in her power, may you be slaughtered by
her.

430. May there be a place of refuge for the divine spouse Osiris An^nesra-

neferab,

431. triumphant, in the presence of Osiris behind Ra; and may the Eight

provide a hiding-place for her !

432. May there be a place of refuge for the divine spouse Osiris An^nesra-

neferab, triumphant, behind Shu; and may the Eight provide a
hiding-place for her!

434. May there be a place of concealment for her behind Seb;

and may the Eight provide a hiding-place for her!

435. May there be a place of refuge for the divine spouse Osiris An^nesra-

neferab, triumphant, behind %epera; and may the Eight provide a
hiding-place for her!

437. May there be a place of hiding for her within heaven; and may the

Eight provide hiding for her!

438. May she enter into Nu, may she know the falling of his water; and

may the Eight provide a place of concealment for her!

439. May she go from place to place,

440. may no eye see or look upon her,

441. may no god see her place, or touch her in her place,

and may the enemies of the divine spouse Osiris An^nesraneferab,
