Fragment of a sepulchral stele, representing a female figure, the right arm of
which is wanting; with chiton girt under the breasts. From the back of the head hangs
a himation, grasped and partly raised by the left hand; a signet ring on the third
finger. The face is mutilated.

631. Calcareous stone. Height, 2 feet if inches. From the necropolis (Golgoi).
Fragment of a sepulchral relief, surmounted by lions, the greater part of which is

destroyed. In the recess a male figure, reclining on a couch, holding in the left hand
a patera and pouch, or purse; below the couch, a low table, or stand, with food (?).

632. Calcareous stone. Height, 2 feet. From the necropolis (Golgoi).
Sepulchral relief. On the left, a seated female, veiled, and holding on the left

arm an infant, with conical head-dress. On the right, a reclining male figure, wearing a
wreath, and resting on the left elbow. In the right hand a rudely sculptured patera.
Surface worn.

633. Calcareous stone. Height, 1 foot 10 inches. From the necropolis (Golgoi).
Sepulchral relief. Two reclining figures, wearing wreaths. On the left stands a

child, in long robe. At the bottom of the relief, a low stand. The centre figure holds
in the left hand a pouch (?). The surface is much mutilated. This group is of late
style.

634. Calcareous stone. Height, 1 foot 7 inches. From the necropolis (Golgoi).
Fragment, of a sepulchral relief, representing a female figure, draped and veiled.

The left hand, muffled in the veil, is raised to the cheek. Much worn, and of late style.
