Bracelets, from the Treasure Vaults at Curium.

i. Armlets, Pair. Gold. Diameter 4 inches. Wire 3/8 inch in diameter.

Solid. The ends lap from two to two and one half inches. Votive offerings, containing,
inside at one end, a Cypriote inscription giving the name of Etevander, King of Paphos. (See
Plate CXLI, No. 6). The originals of these armlets were stolen in September, 1887, and the
present exact copies were made from molds previously taken, and presented by Tiffany & Co.

2. Bracelets, Pair. Bronze, covered with gold. Diameter 23/J inches. Wire % inch in
diameter.

Perfect. The ends are of gold, and form caps that fit over the extremities of the band.
They consist of lions' heads, with open mouth and ears laid back. The band about the neck makes
the joint-cap.

3. Bracelets, Pair. Bronze, covered with gold. Diameter 3^ inches. Wire y% inch in
diameter.

Lion-head ends as above, but larger and not as distinctly marked. The cap joining head
and wire is of beaded work, showing fish-scale pattern. Corrosion on one side shows bronze
interior.
