i. Cypriote Seal. Grey serpentine. Length i inch. Diameter J%2 inch. From
Curium.

Roughly cut. Shows an erect figure flanked by symmetrical ornamentation consisting of
two disks with central dot and a four-pointed star between the disks. Opposed is a standing ibex
with horns laid back. Two V-shaped figures above. See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 387; plate
XXXII, 21.

2. Cypriote Seal. Black serpentine. Length 1 inch. Diameter 7Ae inch. From
Curium.

Roughly cut. In most respects similar to the foregoing, but not quite as distinct in its
details; man and antelope (?) opposed; separated by two disks and a four-pointed star. The
animal has branching horns; above haunches is a third star-shaped ornament.

3. Cypriote Seal. Grey serpentine. Length 3^ inch. Diameter 7/i6 inch. From Aghios
Paraskeva.

Erect figure with extended arms; ball ornamentation about feet, and sun-disk at right
above. Opposed is a flying bird, reversed, with talons hanging. Behind is a crab (?), also re-
versed. See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 387; plate XXXIII, 29.

4. Cypriote Seal. Grey serpentine. Length 1Y32 inch. Diameter 7/ie inch. From
Curium.

Representations of animals : a deer with high antlers; a dog with long legs and a curved
tail to right and left of the deer; an ox's head above one dog and a flying bird above the other.

5. Cypriote Seal. Grey serpentine. Length 1 inch. Diameter 7/i6 inch. From
