6. Cypriote Seal. Black serpentine. Length 13/k; inch. Diameter 13/a2 inch. From
Curium.

Erect figure at left, with small head and large head-dress. Right hand extended toward a
complex resembling a symmetrical plant. Below same is a quadruped with long tail and long
curved horns (ox ?). In front of latter is a crescent with four balls in a curved line below, a seven-
pointed star and two flying birds (?). See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 387; plate XXXII, 18.

7. Cypriote Seal. Black serpentine. Length 2%2 inch. Diameter n/32 inch. From
Amathus.

Seated figure, before a reversed tree; erect figure before a bull's head with straight and
crooked lines below.

8. Cypriote Seal. Grey serpentine. Length i%2 inch. Diameter 7/i6 inch. From
Curium.

Shows branching tree opposed by erect male figure with square body and pendant hands.
Between same on one side are a bull's head with high converging horns and two small, indistinct
objects, a flying bird and a flower ( ? ) ; on the other side a four-pointed star, a sun and a cres-
cent (?) and two star-like shapes. See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 387; plate XXXII, 15.

9. Cypriote Seal. Black serpentine. Length 1 inch. Diameter (body) 3/g inch, (ridge)
l/i inch. From Curium.

Three seated figures, two facing each other, and the third facing a skeleton tree with three
branches. Originally had a spool-like ridge at lower edge, and a second ridge y% inch from upper
edge.

10. Cypriote Seal. Grey serpentine. Length i/A inch flush. Diameter 7/ig inch. From
Curium.

Erect nude male stands behind bent female who extends one hand backward and upward,
and grasps an amphora with the other. Above head of latter is a sun-disk with rays, and in front
is a winged quadruped with a long neck; above same is a flower with a crooked stem.
