r. Necklace. Gold and ivory. Length 123/4 inches. Found in a tomb at Episkopi.
Consists of alternate circular links of gold and ivory. Gold links are circles having each
four involute curves of metal inside. The disks are pierced through their long diameters, and
are strung on gold wire, hooked into rings attached to the sides of the gold circles.
2. Necklace. Gold and ivory. Length 10 inches. Found in a tomb at Episkopi.
Consists of nine flat band-links, with nine (originally, ten) flat round mottled disks,
pierced through their long diameter, and strung on as many wires which serve also as links.
Hook and ring at ends.
3. Necklace. Gold. Length 11 inches. Found in a vault at Curium.
Consists of nineteen links, all alike, of lotus and circular patterns. Each link consists of
two raised circles (section of a sphere) and a double lotus, joined at the centre-line of the necklace.
Holes at each corner of each link serve to hold the cords binding all together.
4. Beads. Gold. Length of string, 7% inches. Found in a vault at Curium.
Thirty-five beads of a similar pattern, but different sizes. Consist of flattened gold bands
with a depression on one side, ornamented with a six-petal rosette in some cases, and with a boss
with beaded border in others. Probably parts of several necklaces ; strung for convenience.
5. Necklace. Gold. Length about 11 y4 inches. Found at Curium.
Composed of twenty-one plain, and twenty double beads alternating, strung on a double
cord. Double beads are shaped like elongated barrels placed side by side, with raised bands on
ends of each. Some are ribbed longitudinally. Length of beads about i/% inch.
