io. Earring. Originally about S/g inch in diameter.

The head is disproportionately large. Lacks wings and arms. Hoop plain; no rosette;
in-hook.

ii. Earring. About 3^ inch in diameter.

Lacks wings and rosette. Plain hoop, with in-hook.

12. Earring. Diameter %e inch.

Winged figure, with wreath above head. In-hook.

13, 14. Earrings, Pair. Length i3/g inch. Diameter (hoop) % inch, (disk) yi inch.

Small end of hoop is twisted into ring above convex disk. Bottom of hoop shows pyra-
midal pendant of five balls, four of which have similar pendants of smaller size. The front of the
hoop expands into a disk, below which is a spiral of fine wire, which extends also about the hoop
twice.

15, 16. Earrings. Length 1%. and 7/g inch. Width 5/£ and y2 inch. Found at Dali
(Idalium).

The collection contains six specimens. The pendants usually consist of four balls; one
example has seven balls and two beads. The hoop shows two tapering arms, wound with fine
wire near the base. The arms formerly lapped slightly.

18. Earring. Length % inch. Diameter of disks l/A inch. From Curium.

Plain loop, supporting a basket composed of three hemispherical disks with small boss in
centre; below is a filigree rosette with ball at bottom.

17, 19. Earrings, Pair. Length i3/£ inch, (head) % inch. From Dali.

Female head, with hair in braids and coils. Ornamented with three beads (discolored),
originally two (at ends) purple, and one green; separated by disks with beaded edges. Hoop is
of twisted wire, ending in a ring which engaged a double ring in back of head of figure.
