Gold Earrings, with animal heads, lion, dolphin, goat and antelope. Some of the lion
heads are horned, as are all of the goats or antelopes. The latter are in great variety, samples
only being represented here, with horns curved back and out, straight, short and hooked. From a
Vault at Curium, except Nos. 23, 24.

1-6. Lion-head Earrings. Diameter yA inch or less. Inlaid eyes. Beaded work about
neck, with pointed necklace. Twisted wire hoop. The collection contains twenty-seven specimens.

7, 8. Lion-head Earrings. With round horns. Diameter S/s inch. Length of head l/A inch.

9, 10. Dolphin-head Earrings. Length 7/% inch. Head 3/g inch.

Heads have horns. Ring below mouth to engage in-hook. Hoop is twisted, and carries
three beads, blue, green and purple, separated by gold collars.

11, 12. Antelope-head Earrings. Diameter about yA inch originally.

Ring under muzzle for in-hook. Twisted wire hoop. Horns have an under-curve of about
1 Yi coils.

13, 14. Lion-head Earrings. Diameter y2 inch. Head y inch long.

Similar to Nos. 7, 8, but with shorter heads.

15. Antelope-head Earring. Diameter %6 inch. Head 3/g inch long.

Ring under muzzle for in-hook. Horns bent, slight out-curve at ends, thick and ribbed.

16. Lion-head Earring. Diameter 9/i6 inch. Head 5/i6 inch long.

Has ring and in-hook. Horns laid back flat, with abrupt back-curve at ends.

17. Antelope-head Earring. Diameter %6 inch.

Ring and in-hook. Long, thin horns laid back, with slight upward tilt at ends.

18. 19. Dolphin-head Earrings. Diameter 1% inch. Heads $/$ inch long.

Horns ; ball in mouth ; two rings beneath muzzle to engage ring in end of hoop, twisted.
1 hree beads on hoop, purple, green and dark red, separated by collars with double-beaded edge.
