A collection of earrings, of small size, but of a great variety of design. Gold. Found in
Greek tombs at Dali.

i. Earring. Length % inch; (drop) l/2 inch.

Consists of a loop of twisted wire with ring and in-turned hook. Ornamented with a globule
of gold at the ring-end of hoop. The pendant consists of a ball with mulberry decoration ; attached
to twisted rod and hung on a ring. The collection contains thirteen specimens of similar design.

2, 3. Earrings. Length ls/ie to 1 inch.

Similar to foregoing, but with convex disk in place of globule, and plain wire hoop. Shown
upside down. The collection contains thirty-four specimens of similar design.

4, 5. Earrings. Length 7/% inch.

Similar to above except that they have S-wire with ball at extremity instead of loop.

6. Earring. Length 3^ inch.

Out-hook; plain ball in pendant. Has boss, like No. 2, 3.

7. Earring. Length y% inch.

Plain hoop, broadened into convex plate in front. Pendant consists of ball and mulberry
ornament. No rod.

8. Earring. Diameter l/2 inch.
Crescent-shaped; flat.

9. Earring. Diameter Vie inch.

Tapering wire, twisted into a ring and double twist out-hook. The collection contains six
specimens.

10. Earring. Diameter x/2 inch.

Plain, tapering wire, with ring and boss-like ornament; in-hook with two turns. The
collection contains twenty specimens.
