Gold Rings. Plain bands. From Curium. Enlarged about one-quarter of a diameter.
1-5. Plain Rings. Gold. Diameter n/iB to 2%2 inch. Width of band in widest l/A inch.
All are examples of same pattern: plain band made of a flat piece of metal, bent to form a
convex surface outside and a concave inside. They have the appearance of heavy gold rings, but
are very light. Votive.
6. Plain Ring. Gold. Diameter i/A inch. Width of band 3/ie inch.
The band is flat inside; the outside shows a raised ridge with notches in the same. Solid.
7. Double Ring. Gold. Diameter 7/s inch. Width of band ^ inch.
Similar to Nos. 1-5, but doubled, showing two rings side by side, with two concave sur-
faces inside.
8. Treble Ring. Gold. Diameter about 7/% inch. Width of bands S/% inch.
Consists of three rings, like Nos. 1-5, side by side, brazed together and showing three
convex surfaces outside.
9. Treble Ring. Gold. Diameter 7/% inch. Width of band 5/ig inch.
Similar to foregoing, except that the inside surface is flat.
10. Ring. Gold. Diameter 7/g inch. Width of band %. inch.
Inside is concave; outside shows two raised bands with two rows of beaded border.
11. Braided Ring. Gold. Diameter 7/% inch.
Braided or guilloche pattern, showing three faces.
12. Ring. Gold. Diameter 7/s inch. Height, head to tail, 11/ie inch.
Shows a serpent of two full coils, with erect head and curved neck and tail. Scales marked
at ends; bands of ring smooth and plain.
13. Ring, coiled. Diameter 2%2 inch. Width of band % to 3/& inch.
The coil contains six turns; ram's head at each end. Coils brazed together.
