Band thin; expanded to join high oval chaton containing a stone engraved with erect
winged female holding two branches in front (Nemesis). For similar figures see No. 10 above,
and Plate XXXI, Nos. 7 and 9. Interior of chaton shows two Greek letters, TA, of uncertain age,
scratched in the gold. See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 390: 6, and 392.

13. Seal. Gold and sard. Diameter 7/% inch. Chaton 9/i6X7/ie inch. From Curium.
Thin gold wire band attached to ends of fine oval chaton decorated with S-spirals about

the sides. Scarab seal; well marked. Bottom shows man leaning on staff with hand at uplifted
foot. See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 382: 11; plate XL, 11.

14. Seal, with collet. Gold and a bluish stone, partly calcined. Size 17/32x^4 inch.
From Curium.

Oval collet holding a stone engraved with erect, nude man with curly hair and plume be-
hind head. Holds the neck and mane of upright prancing horse in each hand. Man's knees are
bent: running? See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 381 : 5; plate XXXIX, 5.

15. Ring. Bronze and a yellow semi-transparent stone: sard ? Diameter 1 inch.
Stone 5/£x9/i6 inch. From Curium.

Band thin: expanded to form high oval setting for stone engraved with erect female figure;
nude. Details indistinct.
