vary in length from 334 to 6% inches. They have round, rivet-like heads; shanks which taper
very gradually for one-third of their length, then are broadened for the perforation or eyelet. The
remainder of the shank tapers gradually to a point. Found at Larnaca.

9. Spike. Bronze: much corroded. Length 454 inches. From Dali.
Similar to the foregoing, but with hemispherical head.

10. Box-Cover. Bronze. Brown, grey and green. Height 3^ inches. Diameter 2
inches. From Dali.

Conical, with short cylindrical base where attached to box. Short perforated flare at top;
apparently the top of a box out of which a powder was scattered. Outside decorated with three
sets of band or line ornamentation.

11. Box-Cover. Bronze. Light brown and dark green. Height 1^ inch. Diameter
\7/% inch. From Dali.

Semi-ovoid with large round hole at top. Band decoration about lower edge.
